Low Cost Dielectric Resonators Oscillators (DROs)

  • Ultra Low Phase Noise: -125 dBc/Hz @ 100 kHz
  • Low Cost Offering Exceptional Value
  • Excellent Temperature Stability: +/- 2 MHz
  • Small 0.500" Sq. Surface Mount Package

Introducing Spectrum Microwave's NEW SMDR1100 Series of low cost surface mount, free-running Dielectric Resonator Oscillators (DROs). Designed and built with both Small Size & Low Phase Noise in mind, this new approach to affordable low phase noise Dielectric Resonator Oscillators offers frequencies from 8.5 GHz to 11 GHz, with "modified standard" units available in all frequencies throughout X band.

Intended for cost conscience commercial applications, this unit offers low phase noise of -140 dBc/Hz @ 1 MHz offset coupled with a ±0.002 GHz stability over -40°C to +85°C off a +5 volt Supply. At the core of this design is our high performance ceramic based resonators which have Very High Q and are Temperature Stable even during extreme temperature changes. All these features added together give you the Spectrum Advantage.
