Spectrum Microwave has an opening for a QC Inspector in our facility located in Marlborough, MA. This position requires you to inspect and test materials used in manufactured products to ensure compliance with specified drawings and procedures.
This is a full-time, first shift position. Shift hours are from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
The individual filling this position will be responsible to conduct product audits, inspect product quality and conformance; perform test setups and testing; track and measure quality metrics; and assist other Quality Assurance personnel as directed.
Previous Quality Control experience is helpful but not necessary. Use of a microscope is required along with strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions in the completion of work.
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Requirements:
- The individual filling this role will possess an Associates Degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school; or six months to a year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- LAN knowledge using Microsoft Front Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred; Microsoft Back Office Products such as: Windows server and other integrated product are useful in this position. Linux experience is a plus.
